About The Position

The Shop Lead role at Dutch Bros Northern Colorado focuses on supporting the Shop Manager in various aspects of team support, operations, and maintaining brand standards. This position involves overseeing scheduling, assisting with interviews and flow checks, supporting coaching and discipline, and ensuring the shop and crew are equipped for success. The Shop Lead also plays a role in inventory management, identifying operational issues, and assisting with promotions. A key aspect of the role is embodying and promoting the company's core values, building team enthusiasm, and contributing to community Give-Backs. The position requires active participation in meetings and adherence to all company policies and procedures.

A minimum of 6 months of Shift Lead experience is preferred, with no disciplinary actions for the past 90 days.
Must have performed a minimum of 10 shifts as a Shift Lead at Dutch Bros.
Advanced ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English for interpreting safety rules, operating instructions, writing routine reports and correspondence, speaking before a group of customers or employees, and leading activities.
Intermediate proficiency in fundamental math operations, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division when cash handling.
Demonstrate core values of speed, quality, and service.
Ability to complete, pass, and maintain mandatory certificates, training, and knowledge tests under DB WYCO.
Ability to delegate tasks and projects to Broistas on shifts.
Strong ability to express humility, gratitude, and integrity within their daily responsibilities.
Possesses emotional intelligence and social skills.

Responsibilities

Oversee scheduling or sequencing, ensuring timely submissions and setting the crew up for success.
Assist the Shop Manager with second interviews for new candidates.
Assist the Shop Manager with Flow Checks.
Support coaching and discipline processes for Broistas and Shift Leads, including documentation and signatures as needed.
Ensure the crew and the shop have everything needed to provide a mind-blowing experience to every customer.
Assist with monthly inventory, focusing on meeting the Cost of Goods Goal.
Assist in identifying and remedying operational problems.
Assist crew with upcoming specials, promotions, and menu changes.
Build enthusiasm for teams around Give-Backs and opportunities to support our communities.
Participate and help lead shop and leadership meetings.
Assist with additional duties as assigned.
