About The Position

Allegiance Trucks is seeking a Shop Foreman to oversee technicians servicing and repairing light-, medium-, and heavy-duty trucks and equipment. The role provides technical support to the service office and customers, assists technicians with troubleshooting, and manages the shop’s workflow and repair-order distribution. The Shop Foreman also reviews repair estimates, oversees warranty-parts tagging and warranty stories, and test-drives repaired vehicles. Work must follow applicable safety rules and Technical Manual procedures using special tools and equipment.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in a diesel truck shop.
• At least 3 years in a leadership role or service writer role.
• Customer service and leadership qualities.
• A driver's license is required.
• Proficiency using a personal computer and basic applications.

Nice To Haves

• A CDL is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee technicians accurately diagnosing and repairing light-, medium-, and heavy-duty trucks and equipment using special tools, equipment, and Technical Manual procedures.
• Provide timely and accurate technical support and information to the service office and customers.
• Follow safety rules and regulations while performing work duties.
• Communicate problems and resolutions to the supervisor and customers, if requested.
• Oversee tagging of warranty parts and write warranty stories.
• Test-drive repaired vehicles.
• Assist technicians with equipment troubleshooting, malfunctions, and repairs.
• Use diagnostic software to identify and repair issues.
• Distribute repair orders fairly and evenly.
• Manage shop workflow.
• Review and adjust repair estimates.
• Assist with other projects as needed.
