Shop Assistant
About The Position
TrailersPlus is seeking a Shop Assistant for its Reno store. The role involves inspecting, servicing, and repairing trailers; installing parts and accessories; receiving and processing shipments; and maintaining the facility and grounds. The company describes its workplace as a fast-paced, hard-working environment with a family atmosphere, a small-business feel, growth opportunities, an open-door leadership policy, and team support. The position works Monday through Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., with Sundays off and one additional day off during the week, for 40 hours per week. Pay is $18–$19 per hour.
Requirements
- Forklift certification is required; company-paid training is provided.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.
- Ability to be on your feet for a long period of time.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Professional, team-oriented approach and a service-based mindset focused on customer satisfaction.
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with basic tools used for trailer repair is preferred.
