About The Position
The Shoe Stylist applies selling techniques to merchandise and develops a client base to build sales. The role focuses on providing outstanding customer service in a welcoming environment, meeting sales productivity expectations, maintaining product knowledge, and assisting with store operations as needed.
Requirements
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to process information or merchandise through the computer system and POS register system.
- Ability to work a flexible retail schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and/or holidays.
Nice To Haves
- 1–2 years of retail experience preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting and acknowledging every customer and maintaining a customer-friendly environment.
- Maintain outstanding standards in every aspect of customer service.
- Understand product information, merchandise promotions, test merchandise, and advertising efforts.
- Demonstrate salesmanship and consistently achieve and maintain sales productivity levels.
- Assist with store operations, including floor moves, merchandising, display maintenance, cleaning when necessary, and returning products to inventory as needed.
- Be flexible and occasionally perform work outside the specific role.
