About The Position

The Shoe Stock Associate is an hourly Operations Team Associate who supports sales and a positive customer experience by accurately and efficiently processing inbound deliveries and preparing new merchandise for the sales floor. The role also handles outbound merchandise activities, inventory accuracy tasks, facilities support, and back-of-house organization, and works with merchandising and fulfillment teams on product placement, store sets, and customer orders. The associate maintains operational standards and store cleanliness, supports customers and teammates, follows asset protection and safety procedures, and adapts to business needs. The role requires regular movement throughout the store, including bending, reaching, stretching, and lifting, carrying, or moving at least 50 pounds. A flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays, is required.

Responsibilities

Demonstrate ownership and initiative in achieving personal goals, store objectives, and daily priorities.
Unload truck deliveries; sort cartons by department; process merchandise; remove plastic; and hang items as needed to prepare products for the sales floor.
Follow operational processes and procedures to enhance productivity.
Apply sensor tags and complete product transfers, damage processing, and RFID tasks to support inventory accuracy.
Assist with facilities processes, including lighting and recycling programs, work orders, store maintenance, and housekeeping.
Support merchandising and store fulfillment teams with floor sets, product presentations, promotional sets, price changes, and picking and packing customer orders.
Maintain operational standards by replenishing supplies, supporting store recovery, and ensuring cleanliness.
Organize and properly store tools, supplies, excess stock, fixtures, and other equipment.
Use training tools and resources, accept feedback, and build knowledge of operational processes and procedures; stay informed about products, promotions, policies, and store events.
Acknowledge and assist customers, support the store during peak traffic and coverage periods, and complete other assigned tasks.
Build connections with teammates, share knowledge, and celebrate individual and team achievements.
Follow asset protection procedures, safety guidelines, and security protocols to support shortage control and minimize risk.
