About The Position

The Shipping role is responsible for ensuring products are accurately stored in the warehouse and preparing customer orders for shipment according to established processes. The position uses the client’s ERP system to process orders and various freight systems to label and meter packages. It also includes preparing for the next day’s shipping activities and maintaining a safe, clean warehouse environment. The employee must follow divisional initiatives and applicable Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS), and other regulatory requirements.

The position is located at 2305 Walnut St, Roseville, MN 55113, and is a 12-month contract with possible extension. The shift is 12:00 PM–8:30 PM. A high school diploma is required. Workplace dress rules require closed-toe shoes and long pants; prohibit shorts, hats, tank tops, cutoff shirts, offensive slogans or images, and sunglasses on the distribution center floor; require pants to be worn at waist level with undergarments not visible; and require sweatshirt hoods to remain down.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• Wear closed-toe shoes and long pants at all times.
• Wear pants at waist level so undergarments are not visible.
• Do not wear shorts, hats, tank tops, cutoff shirts, or sunglasses on the distribution center floor.
• Keep hoods down when wearing hooded sweatshirts.
• Do not wear shirts with slogans, pictures, words, or images that can be interpreted as offensive.

Responsibilities

• Ensure products are accurately stored in the warehouse.
• Prepare customer orders for shipping accurately and according to process.
• Label and meter packages using various freight systems.
• Process orders using the client’s ERP system.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment within the warehouse.
• Prepare daily for the following day’s shipping activities.
• Support divisional initiatives and applicable QMS, EMS, and other regulatory requirements.
