About The Position

As a Shipping Utility II, you play a critical role in ensuring our customers receive the right products, on time, and in excellent condition. You will be the final quality checkpoint before products leave the distribution center, helping drive operational excellence through accurate order fulfillment, shipment auditing, packing, labeling, and inventory movement. Your attention to detail, commitment to safety, and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment directly contribute to customer satisfaction, team success, and the overall performance of our distribution operations.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required with at least six months of experience in a warehouse, shipping, receiving, distribution, or logistics environment.
  • Experience operating warehouse equipment, including stand-up narrow aisle reach trucks and order selectors, with the ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds on a repetitive basis.
  • Proficiency with warehouse management systems and shipping technologies; SAP experience preferred, along with familiarity using shipping carriers such as FedEx and UPS.
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently, take initiative, adapt to changing priorities, support continuous improvement efforts, and maintain a commitment to quality, safety, and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Execute shipping and order fulfillment activities by picking, auditing, consolidating, packing, labeling, and preparing orders for shipment while maintaining high standards for quality and accuracy.
  • Process and verify shipments using SAP, ShipERP, FedEx, and UPS systems, ensuring order requirements are met and shipment discrepancies are identified and resolved before delivery.
  • Support warehouse and distribution operations by meeting daily production goals, assisting with special projects, performing inventory-related activities, and collaborating across shipping, consolidation, auditing, and hand-picking functions as needed.
  • Promote a safe and organized workplace by following safety procedures, operating material handling equipment responsibly, maintaining 5S standards, identifying hazards, and supporting team training and communication efforts.
