About The Position

McKee Foods is seeking a Shipping Utility to join our Shipping Department team. This role involves working and interacting as part of a 2-person team to meet team performance goals. Responsibilities include using computers in both Windows and non-Windows environments, picking cases and loading them onto conveyors to fill distributor's orders with a high level of accuracy, and stacking cases in trailers while maintaining high quality. The position also requires maintaining accurate information in the WMS, communicating effectively with others, cross-training in other areas, and performing cleaning and other shipping/receiving duties as needed.

Requirements

• Overall good work record (which includes attendance, safety, job performance, flexibility, and team behaviors)
• Demonstrated ability to work in a cohesive team environment
• Ability to work with computers (data entry)
• Basic math skills
• Ability to perform moderate to heavy lifting
• Demonstrated ability to promote continuous process improvement and LEAN principles
• Capable of reaching work goals with minimal supervision

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience working with WMS
• Previous shipping and lift truck experience

Responsibilities
