Shipping Shuttle Driver

About The Position
The Shipping Shuttle Driver operates a shuttle truck to support shipping operations. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 11 p.m. to 7 a.m., with Saturdays as needed. The role requires working in other areas or assignments as needed, including in extreme cold and extreme hot areas and outside work areas. The position requires a valid Texas driver’s license, a Class A CDL, and the ability to pass a driving background check.
Requirements
- Dependable and self-motivated.
- Able to lift moderately to heavily, up to 70 pounds.
- Able to work in extreme cold and extreme hot areas, including outside work areas.
- Able to speak and write English.
- Able to operate a forklift and pallet jack.
- Able to operate a shuttle truck.
- Valid Texas driver’s license and ability to pass a driving background check.
- Must successfully complete Pilgrim’s Smith Safety Training.
- Class A CDL required.
- At least 6 months of truck-with-trailer driving experience.
Responsibilities
- Operate a shuttle truck.
- Operate a forklift and pallet jack.
- Read customer orders accurately and perform basic math.
- Work in other areas or assignments as required.
- Work weekends and nights as needed.
