About The Position

Quad Franklin is looking for a shipping and receiving Technician to join our team! Working hours: M - F 6 am-2 pm. Hourly rate: DOE 19.24-24.25/hr. If you enjoy seeing products come together from start to finish, Franklin is the place for you. This modern packaging facility produces folding cartons and blister cards using advanced printing and finishing equipment. Employees work in a collaborative environment where quality, safety and teamwork are part of every shift, with opportunities to expand their skills while helping create packaging found on store shelves across the country.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Comfort operating equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks
Strong attention to detail
Basic math and solid problem-solving skills
Clear communication—both written and verbal
Comfort using computers and inventory systems
The ability to juggle tasks and work independently without missing a beat

Nice To Haves

2–3 years of shipping/receiving experience

Responsibilities

Be the go-to communicator with mills to keep shipments on track and on time
Review incoming shipment notices and double-check all the details
Send shipping paperwork to the right people so everything stays flowing
Receive materials and returns, making sure what shows up matches what’s expected
Track inventory like a pro—logging quantities, tagging products, and organizing pallets
Flag and quarantine any questionable products
Team up with Logistics and CAM to resolve inventory puzzles and discrepancies
Help load and unload trailers
Build and organize pallets of finished goods
Keep the warehouse clean, safe, and running like a well-oiled machine
Share your knowledge by training and mentoring teammates
Jump in wherever needed
