Job Description A Warehouse Supervisor oversees daily warehouse operations, manages staff, ensures accurate and timely shipping and receiving, and maintains a safe and efficient work environment.
Requirements
- Must have high school diploma or GED.
- Must be able to work 8 hour day shifts, some overtime on occasion.
- Must possess excellent attendance.
- Capacities to read, comprehend, and refer to operating directions.
- Strong Problem-Solving Skills and Effective Communication Skills.
- Basic PC Software & computing skills (e-mail, MS office programs).
- SAP experience required.
- 2 to 5 Years’ Experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Daily Status Report
- Prepare bills of lading, customs documentation, and shipping labels in SAP
- Set-up and schedule shipments
- Record shipping and receiving transactions in the ERP system
- Track shipments and resolve discrepancies with internal teams
- Scheduling of export loading appointments
- Timely filing and maintenance of all shipping documentation
- Timely filing and maintenance of all process orders
- Maintain consumable inventories
- Oversee accurate and regular inventory checks
- Maintain all shipping and receiving standard operating procedures
- Safety is the #1 Job Priority always.
- Recognize and correct safety problems/issues/deficiencies as observed/directed.
- Quality of product ranks 2nd only to safety.
- Have a working knowledge of all quality procedures and ensure that they are followed.
- Perform quality documenting audits.
