About The Position

North American Lighting (NAL) is looking for a Shipping/Receiving Supervisor to join their team. The ideal candidate will supervise and coordinate the activities and personnel of the shipping, receiving, and warehouse departments within the plant. Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent.
4 - 6 years of warehouse experience in a manufacturing environment — to include 2 or more years in a supervisory or team lead role OR 4 - 6 years of Shipping / Receiving Clerk experience.

Nice To Haves

Associate’s degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Technology, or a related discipline is preferred.

Responsibilities

Leads and oversees the shipping, receiving, storage, and movement of all finished product and purchased materials in accordance to company policies and procedures.
Supervises the departmental personnel in their daily activities, schedules their workload, and ensures their compliance with departmental and company policies and procedures.
Oversees and ensures the timely shipment of all finished product or other materials, and the accurate completion of all required documentation.
Requisitions any tools, equipment or supplies as needed for the function of this department.
Monitors departmental safety on a continual basis, and holds monthly employee safety meetings.
Assists in the training and development of departmental personnel.
