About The Position

The Shipping/Receiving Specialist will be responsible for loading and unloading trucks, positioning inventory, and handling materials safely and correctly. This role involves data collection and analysis, ensuring compliance with all training, quality, compliance, and safety policies. The specialist will keep management informed of any product quality issues and move materials throughout the shop. Key tasks also include counting and preparing kits for production.

Requirements

Work independently with the ability to prioritize work tasks
The ability to understand and carry out detailed oral and written instructions
Ability to read and understand work instructions, documents, correspondence, and memos
Effective communication skills, which include verbal and written in English
Ability to perform basic mathematical functions
Excellent computer skills with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Must be able to multi-task, have a positive attitude, and handle pressure under deadlines in a professional manner
Must have excellent attendance and be dependable
The ability to obtain a Hi-Lo license
The ability to follow FIFO
High school diploma or GED
Excellent attendance record
Ability to work with hands and excellent eye/hand coordination

Moving material/product throughout the shop to the next location
All other responsibilities assigned by the Manager
