About The Position

This full-time position is based at a food manufacturing distribution center and supports warehouse and inventory operations. The role manages inventory data in the Warehouse Management System (WMS), helps coordinate daily tasks and shipments, and supports accurate material tracking and reporting. The position offers a starting pay of $21.25 per hour, with an additional $1.50 shift differential for work between 6 p.m. and 6 a.m. The stated schedule is a day shift from 6:35 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The company describes opportunities for advancement.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 5 years of related experience.
• Advanced knowledge of inventory management systems.
• Comfort recommending areas for improvement or efficiency and advocating for safety.
• Regularly handle packages weighing up to 50 pounds on a rare occasion.
• Work at heights as needed for cycle counting.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain accurate inventory data in the Warehouse Management System (WMS), including training and system support.
• Operate dock equipment and assist with forklift and material handling to support inbound and outbound shipments.
• Plan and delegate daily tasks using load sheets to support warehouse operations.
• Communicate with external vendors and customers about shipments, orders, and delivery status.
• Generate barcode tags and real-time material tracking, and support accurate order reconciliation and operational reporting.
