The Shipping & Receiving Coordinator I, 1st Shift is responsible for receiving, counting, verifying, and ensuring the accuracy of received goods, materials, and items such as various metal bar stock, raw steel, flat stock, and components. This role also verifies the accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments and orders, ensuring that materials received match what was ordered. The coordinator routes incoming items within the company as directed, compares identifying information with bills of lading, invoices, orders, or records, and performs ERP system transactions for picking and stocking product orders. Daily cycle counts are a key responsibility, along with performing parts protection and material handling tasks. The role involves determining the method of shipment using knowledge of shipping procedures, preparing materials for shipping by weighing, packaging, and stamping, and preparing necessary shipping forms such as bills of lading. Additionally, the coordinator picks and issues raw materials and performs other related duties as assigned.
