About The Position

Kendall Auto Group is hiring a Shipping & Receiving Clerk for the Parts Team at Kendall Ford of Anchorage. The Parts Department is a fast-paced environment serving clients throughout the community. This is an entry-level position; parts experience is not required, though experience in an independent shop or large dealership is preferred.

The role involves receiving, storing, and stocking shipments; maintaining inventory accuracy and shipping records; delivering parts; and preparing parts and materials for shipment. The position also includes driving a parts truck to in-town locations. Work is performed indoors, with up to 75% of the shift spent using computers and phone systems.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license and a good driving record.
• Familiarity with using hands-free mobile equipment while driving.
• Ability to carry and lift 20 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to stand and walk for up to 50% of the work shift.
• Ability to bend, twist, squat, and reach above shoulder level occasionally during the work shift.
