About The Position

The Shipping-Receiving Clerk/Stocker is responsible for shipping and receiving products at the retail store. This position has no direct supervisory authority and reports to the Store Manager.

Requirements

• Forklift experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Receive merchandise into the warehouse area.
• Cross-check quantities against packing slips and make corrections as necessary.
• Operate merchandise-handling equipment safely.
• Accurately allocate merchandise to the splitting area or appropriate department.
• Load merchandise onto the proper truck for shipment and shrink-wrap it when necessary.
• Perform general maintenance of equipment.
• Practice workplace safety by using safe work habits.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
