About The Position

Chart is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Clerk 2 to move materials and products and support material flow to assembly. The role includes identifying materials from bills of material or cut lists, gathering them from stock or storage after preparatory operations, and delivering them to assembly points in the sequence required to meet schedules. The clerk must read and interpret CMTRs to check in material according to customer specifications, follow safety and housekeeping practices, and work with minimum supervision. The position is safety sensitive and performed onsite in New Iberia, Louisiana. The estimated starting rate is 23.50.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent; education may be substituted by extended experience.
Experience or knowledge in shipping and receiving.
General knowledge of fabrication tools and parts.
Forklift operating experience required.
Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Ability to read and interpret CMTRs to check in material per customer specifications.

Responsibilities

Move material and products using large and small forklifts and other methods.
Follow proper safety and housekeeping practices and guidelines.
Identify material from bills of material and/or cut lists.
Gather material from stock or storage after preparatory operations and deliver it to assembly points in the sequence required to meet assembly schedules.
Read and interpret CMTRs to check in material according to customer specifications.
Assist in other areas as needed.
Work with minimum supervision.
Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
