About The Position

Spirit of ‘76, L.L.C. is hiring a Shipping Operations Supervisor for its warehouse in Boonville, Missouri. The role leads daily shipping operations, coordinates freight transportation, and ensures accurate and timely order fulfillment. The supervisor is expected to support a collaborative team, improve operational efficiency, and maintain safety and regulatory compliance. The position is based in the Boonville warehouse; candidates should live in or be willing to relocate to Central Missouri.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in shipping, logistics, warehousing, or a related field; the posting describes this as preferred.
• Experience coordinating parcel, LTL, and other freight shipments.
• Knowledge of, or ability to learn, DOT, FMCSA, and hazardous materials transportation regulations.
• Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to supervise personnel, coordinate daily workloads, and support employee development.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records and resolve shipping discrepancies.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
• Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and adapt to changing operational needs in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with warehouse personnel, carriers, vendors, and other departments.
• Commitment to workplace safety, regulatory compliance, and continuous process improvement.
• Ability to carry, pull, and/or lift up to 50 pounds; crouch, grasp, pull, kneel, stoop, and walk; and stand for up to 8 or more hours.
• Reliable transportation to and from the employee’s home base.
• Must reside in or be willing to relocate to Central Missouri.

Nice To Haves

• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Experience maintaining shipping, transportation, and regulatory compliance documentation.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, and shipping software.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily shipping operations.
