About The Position

As the Shipping & Logistics Associate you will be responsible for processing and coordinating daily LTL and Ground shipments. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, safety-conscious, and able to maintain accuracy and productivity while working in a constantly changing environment.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

1+ years of experience in a warehouse, fulfillment, or logistics environment preferred.
Warehouse equipment experience is a plus (forklift - stand up reach and sit down)
Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and handheld scanning devices.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Flexible availability, including weekends or overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

Process and coordinate a high volume of daily LTL and Ground shipments in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Prepare, verify, and accurately complete shipping documentation, labels, bills of lading, and carrier paperwork.
Coordinate with carriers, Customer Service, Production, Purchasing, and Warehouse teams to ensure shipments are ready and dispatched on schedule.
Review orders and shipping requirements for accuracy prior to staging and loading.
Ensure products are properly packaged, labeled, staged, and prepared for transportation.
Prioritize shipments based on customer requirements, carrier schedules, and established shipping procedures.
Work efficiently while maintaining a high level of accuracy during periods of heavy shipping volume and tight deadlines.
Identify and communicate shipping discrepancies, shortages, damages, or other issues promptly.
Follow established procedures for LTL, Ground, and other freight shipments.
Maintain an organized and efficient shipping area.
Operate warehouse equipment safely and follow all required safety procedures and company policies.
Maintain a strong commitment to workplace safety, including proper lifting techniques, equipment operation, pedestrian awareness, and housekeeping.
Support a team-oriented environment and assist with other warehouse and shipping responsibilities as needed.
Support cycle counts and inventory audits related to shipping and receiving activity.
Assist with resolving shipping errors, delayed deliveries, and customer or internal inquiries related to orders.
