The Logistics Associate’s primary responsibility is to assist in daily operational tasks for the shipping & receiving functions.

Requirements

Self-starter; must be willing to work in a team environment.
Willing to work overtime and/or some weekends as required.
Must be able to work on your feet, bend, stoop, and lift consistently for all scheduled hours.
Must be able to manipulate and move material with assistance weighing up to 90 lbs. by either rolling, lifting, or using a hand cart.
Must be able to read and understand spoken English.
High attention to detail, ability to solve straight forward problems with a few concrete variables.
Must possess hand-eye coordination necessary to operate machines and perform essential duties.
Must be comfortable completing tasks alone or as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

Forklift experience a plus!
Experience working in an ambient temperature manufacturing environment a plus.
Forklift experience is very desirable.
Experience using measuring and cutting tools a plus

Responsibilities

Organize and group product from previous day’s production.
Perform quality inspections on each roll including but not limited to checking for defects on each roll, checking surface quality, and overall appearance of product.
Package product for shipping according to specific instructions.
Load trailers with specific orders for each vendor based on ship via.
Assist with receiving and unloading of trucks.
Work within safety parameters as described in Dollamur’s hire and wear required PPE during tasks.
