About The Position

The Logistics Coordinator - Shipping is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of shipments, with a focus on cost and timing requirements. This role involves significant data entry, professional communication with internal and external customers, and meticulous attention to detail in paperwork and labeling. The position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate a sense of urgency, and maintain a clean work area.

Requirements

• Must be forklift certified.
• Accuracy of data is critical.
• Must be detail-oriented and accurate with forms and numbers.
• Must demonstrate a sense of urgency and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must have excellent communication skills and be customer-service oriented.
• Must perform job duties in timely manner.
• Lift up to 50lbs.
• Sit or stand for up to 95 percent of work hours.

Nice To Haves

• Inventory Control experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure shipments are processed accurately, being mindful of cost and timing requirements.
• Data entry required.
• Professionally communicate via telephone and e-mail with internal and external customers.
• Accurate labeling of shipments is required.
• Prepare accurate and timely paperwork for drivers to pick up shipments.
• Establish and follow processes to ensure correct paperwork is completed timely and per shipping requirements.
• Maintain clean work area.
