About The Position

Diamond Mowers is looking for a Logistics Shipping Tech to join their team. This role is responsible for loading and unloading products from trucks, demonstrating efficient time management, and maintaining a focus on details. The position also involves driving a non-CDL straight truck. Experience with loading equipment onto trucks and driving is beneficial for this role.

Requirements

Experienced in loading and unloading freight in a commercial setting; experienced loading/unloading product on flatbed trailers preferred.
The ability to be insured to drive our equipment and trucks.
Forklift familiarity mandatory: proficiency preferred.
Computer skills including Microsoft Office and database data entry.

Nice To Haves

A High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

Outgoing orders are efficiently and effectively pulled, staged, and loaded.
Record and verify order numbers, serial numbers, and product description.
Uses time efficiently; thinks ahead to next step in process; minimal wasted motion.
Driving a Non- CDL Straight Truck between locations and vendors.
Load and unload staged product onto truck and / or trailer.
Ensure product is legally and properly secured to the vehicle.
Driving straight truck safely following all posted DOT laws.
Adheres to all DOT safety procedures related to driving in regard to all types of company vehicles and trailers.
Ensure proper safety practices; including getting on and off forklifts and trailers; asking for assistance, or any other measure to ensure safe practices are completed.
Keeps a neat and clean work environment.
Wears proper safety gear where required, for example, safety glasses and steel toed boots.
All other duties are performed as necessary.
