The Coordinator, Operations will enable distribution center operations by performing general office activities, responding to various inquiries, and directly supporting warehouse and transportation leadership as necessary. Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum of five (5) years of experience with warehouse and delivery procedures required.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent telephone and customer service skills.
Strong math and organizational skills with attention to detail.
Basic computer skills and analytical ability.
Ability to resolve routine problems of limited scope.

Responsibilities

Perform activities to support all aspects of shipping and receiving operations to ensure timely delivery of inbound freight and proper scheduling against capacity.
Schedule receiving appointments with vendors for inbound freight.
Prepare and update daily delivery appointment schedules.
Prepare inbound shipping documentation.
Assign receiving doors to inbound carriers.
Enter purchase orders and verify all POs are cleared by end of day.
Manage discrepancy reports.
Coordinate and schedule backhauls with the purchasing department.
Prepare weekly backhaul reports.
File out-of-stock and damage claims.
