About The Position

This position is responsible for ensuring all materials are transported and/or unloaded in a timely manner while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. The position must be able to obtain a forklift license and be able to change batteries as needed (training will be available). Must also be able to maneuver a pallet jack around tables and belts, be aware of all obstacles in all areas of travel, and complete various log sheets and maintain equipment. This position will be exposed to possible warm or cold temperatures, wet, humid, or dusty conditions.

Requirements

Must have 3 months of work history with one employer listed on the application.
Must possess skills to complete Tyson paperwork
Must be able to read invoices, packing slips, records of materials, etc.
Willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Must be able to obtain forklift license
Must be able to change battery as needed
Must be able to maneuver pallet jack

Nice To Haves

Prefer 3 months of forklift operator experience.

Responsibilities

Operating a jack and forklift
Moving product to necessary location
Loading and unloading blast cell and freezer racks
Assist in all areas as needed/assigned
Loading and unloading skids
Maneuvering pallet jack around tables and belts
Continuously gripping control handle of the jack
Being aware of all obstacles in all areas of travel (including other Team Members)
Completing various log sheets
Maintaining (upkeep) of equipment while in possession
