Requirements

High school diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent.
Experience in like work centers.
Accuracy using both calipers and micrometers.
Good mechanical skills and troubleshooting ability.
Ability to stand, sit, stoop, bend, walk, reach, squat, kneel, push, and pull for a minimum of 8 hours.
Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 50lbs.
Ability to ascend/descend stairs.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in a heavy manufacturing environment.
Working with steel microfibers.

Responsibilities

Safely perform job functions at the highest level of quality in the processing of media, mesh and elements.
Accurate paperwork and record keeping.
Use measuring and test equipment as required.
Follow all company rules and policies as well as OSHA/EPA regulations.
Inspect, cut and lay-up of dynalloy, fibermet and continuous rolls.
Perform final inspection, trim and package media products.
Operate calendaring equipment (rolling mills), Hydrogen furnace and vacuum furnaces.
Stage and unstage media sheets and continuous rolls to manufacturer and thickness specifications.
