About The Position
Pall Corporation, a global leader in high-tech filtration, separation, and purification, is seeking a Production Associate for its Consumables Department in DeLand, FL. This on-site role offers an opportunity to contribute to life sciences, diagnostics, and biotechnology by ensuring the safe and efficient operation of equipment to produce components, subassemblies, and final assemblies. The position reports to the Production Supervisor and is part of a team dedicated to innovation and continuous improvement through the Danaher Business System.
Requirements
- High School Diploma, G.E.D. or Equivalent
- Minimum two years of production/manufacturing experience
- Ability to stand, sit, stoop, bend, walk, reach, squat, kneel, push, and pull for a minimum of 10 hours.
- Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 50lbs
Nice To Haves
- Experience in operating corrugating/pleating equipment.
- Reading and interpreting blueprints, engineering drawings and/or schematics.
- Utilizing scorecards or other process tracking tools.
Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently perform all tasks related to the Consumables Department.
- Setup and operate all equipment in a related area to produce complicated components, subassemblies, and final assemblies from blueprints and work instructions.
- Work under the direction of supervisors, or more experienced personnel, with little supervision.
- Maintain accurate records, logs, and collect any necessary data for use by Engineering.
