The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the facilities, equipment, and grounds within manufacturing and food safety guidelines, adhering to the vision and mission of the department. This role requires an intermediate understanding of mechanical, pneumatic, structural, and electrical (non-IS) systems, as well as a complete knowledge of departmental safety regulations, including SDS, chemical, physical, and element exposures. The technician must be aware of life safety, fire suppression, and food safety requirements, and possess the ability to prioritize workloads across multiple departments to meet and exceed company goals. The position involves performing repairs, providing on-call maintenance services, managing expenses, and ensuring compliance with all relevant codes and policies.
