About The Position

The Shipping Equipment Operator accurately picks product from designated locations throughout the Distribution Center and stages it at the proper loading areas. The role uses a cherry picker-style lift and RF scanners to identify, locate, retrieve, and move product. Operators safely use the lift, including at heights up to 40 feet, and work with team members to complete tasks and goals. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent experience in a warehouse environment.
• Experience operating forklift and/or cherry picker equipment.
• Comfort working at heights up to 40 feet.
• Ability to work flexible hours as department needs require, including availability for weekends.
• Ability to communicate proactively and effectively, comprehend and communicate detailed instructions, and read and write.
• At least 18 years old.
• Able to sit, walk, stand, bend, stoop, kneel, reach, twist, push, pull, climb, balance, crouch, and handle and move items weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
• Able to move objects weighing up to 250 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Able to move throughout all areas of the distribution center and stand and walk continuously to perform job functions.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a cherry picker lift at heights up to 40 feet.
• Use RF scanners to identify and locate product.
• Load product from storage racks onto the cherry picker lift.
• Move product from the lift to the proper location in the loading area.
• Cooperate with team members to complete tasks and set goals.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
