About The Position

The Forklift Operator works in a warehouse environment, handling pallets and materials and supporting production operations. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, at $18.50 per hour. The operator loads and unloads trucks and trailers, moves materials throughout the warehouse, follows facility quality standards and processes, and helps meet production deadlines and goals. The role also involves operating and maintaining machinery and reporting production issues to an immediate supervisor.

Requirements

• Certified forklift driver.
• Ability to pay close attention to details.
• Familiarity with safety procedures and guidelines.
• Ability to identify problems or malfunctions with machinery and equipment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical strength and stamina to stand, walk, and lift for long periods of time.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous experience in a factory or warehouse preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload pallets onto and off of trucks and trailers.
• Move pallets and materials throughout the warehouse.
• Ensure quality standards and processes are used throughout the facility.
• Help ensure production deadlines and goals are met.
• Report production issues or problems to the immediate supervisor.
• Operate and maintain machinery.
