About The Position
The Forklift Operator works Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM and earns $18.50 per hour. The role involves moving pallets and materials in a warehouse, supporting production goals, and operating and maintaining machinery while following safety and quality procedures.
Requirements
- Certified forklift driver.
- Ability to pay close attention to details.
- Familiarity with safety procedures and guidelines.
- Ability to identify problems or malfunctions with machinery and equipment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical strength and stamina to stand, walk, and lift for long periods.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous experience in a factory or warehouse preferred.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload pallets onto and off of trucks and trailers.
- Move pallets and materials throughout the warehouse.
- Ensure quality standards and processes are used throughout the facility.
- Help ensure production deadlines and goals are met.
- Report production issues or problems to the immediate supervisor.
- Operate and maintain machinery.
