Requirements
- Ability to work effectively with all levels of employees and management.
- Good command of the English language.
- Ability to read and interpret work orders for processing.
- Ability to use simple math and basic hand-held measuring tools.
- Ability to lift or maneuver rolls of tape in excess of 50+lbs.
- Regularly required to stand, reach and move about the facility.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the efficient and safe operation of a slitting machine according to established training criteria.
- Follow directions on work orders and translate data into proper settings and procedures.
- Check output against specifications on work orders and perform visual inspection of goods produced.
- Recognize non-conforming goods and inform the Quality Assurance Manager.
- Report any process and equipment problems to upper management and/or the Maintenance Supervisor.
- Ensure that established policies, rules, regulations, and procedures are followed.
- Be responsible for all processes, equipment, employees, safety, and housekeeping of the area, and meeting production quality and quantity standards.
- Adhere to production schedules as set by the Production Planner and VP of Operations.
- Effectively utilize required systems, including HQMS and Sage 500 ERP/DSCS.
- Ensure established safety protocol is followed.
