About The Position

The Shipping Equipment Operator accurately picks products from designated locations throughout the distribution center and stages them in the proper loading areas. The role uses a cherry picker-style lift and RF scanners to locate, retrieve, and move products. Operators safely use a cherry picker lift at heights up to 40 feet, load products from storage racks onto the lift, and move them to the correct loading-area location. They work with team members to complete tasks and set goals, and perform other duties as assigned.

The position requires experience operating forklift and/or cherry picker equipment, comfort working at heights up to 40 feet, and the ability to communicate effectively and understand detailed instructions. Work hours are flexible according to department needs and include weekend availability. The role involves continuous standing and walking, moving throughout the distribution center, and handling items weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance and objects up to 250 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent experience in a warehouse environment.
• Experience operating forklift and/or cherry picker equipment.
• Comfort working at heights up to 40 feet.
• Ability to work flexible hours based on department needs, including availability for weekends.
• Ability to communicate proactively and effectively, comprehend and communicate detailed instructions, and read and write.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, stoop, kneel, reach, twist, push, pull, climb, balance, crouch, and handle and move items weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
• Ability to move objects up to 250 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Ability to move throughout the distribution center and stand and walk continuously to perform job functions.

Responsibilities

• Accurately pick products from designated locations throughout the distribution center.
• Safely operate a cherry picker lift at heights up to 40 feet.
• Use RF scanners to identify and locate products.
• Load staged products from storage racks onto the cherry picker lift.
• Move products from the lift to the proper location in the loading area.
• Cooperate with team members to complete tasks and set goals.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
