About The Position

At Charter Next Generation (CNG), employees are owners and earn equity shares from day one. The Shipping Operator operates and monitors production lines that turn raw resin into film used in packaging. The role includes hands-on training, work with a close-knit team, and opportunities for career growth. The position is scheduled Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The posting describes guaranteed full-time work and eight hours of overtime built into every standard schedule.

Requirements

Ability to work 5-hour shifts and lift up to 55 pounds.
Basic mechanical aptitude and comfort with measuring tools.
Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
Willingness to learn and adapt in a technical environment.
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening.

Responsibilities

Operate a forklift to safely load and unload finished-goods pallets on and off trucks and in and out of warehouse racks and conveyors.
Scan pallets, conduct daily equipment checks, and complete bills of lading, shipping inspection forms, work order forms, and other customer-specified paperwork.
Inspect products for quality compliance and manage scrap.
Perform routine maintenance and housekeeping tasks.
Work safely in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Collaborate with the team during shift changeovers.
