Shipping Department Associate- Seasonal
About The Position
YOM is seeking a detail-oriented, quality-focused associate to support its shipping department. The company creates custom media collections and carries products from major movie studios and record labels. The role includes preparing and shipping Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) inventory, building and restocking custom media boxes, assisting with department support tasks, and helping maintain an organized, clean warehouse. Training is provided, and warehouse experience is not required. Scheduled hours are expected to be 32–38 hours per week, with possible additional hours during peak business weeks. Business hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with some flexibility. Opportunities for growth and advancement are available.
Requirements
- Willingness to learn new systems and programs.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Aptitude for working with scanners and keyboards.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to frequently lift boxes weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work in an active environment, walking and standing for long periods.
Responsibilities
- Bundle components in preparation for outgoing FBA shipments.
- Ship FBA inventory to Amazon regional warehouses throughout the country.
- Build custom media boxes for the warehouse and manage media box restocking.
- Assist with department support tasks, including organizing shipping supplies and handling damaged inventory repair orders.
- Maintain an organized workspace and contribute to warehouse cleanliness.
