About The Position

This role is responsible for overseeing daily shipping operations in a distribution center. The lead will ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment, manage receiving and inventory, maintain warehouse organization and safety, and utilize WMS for tracking. Strong communication and attention to detail are crucial due to the need for clear communication with an offsite manager and the critical nature of distinguishing similar part numbers. Reliability and consistent attendance are also highly valued.

Requirements

• Experience working in a warehouse in a leadership role.
• Experienced with Microsoft Outlook/Word/Excel.
• Forklift certified.
• Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Communication skills for working with an offsite manager and responding via Teams or phone.
• Attention to detail to accurately process part numbers with minimal mistakes.
• Reliability and consistent attendance, with communication for any absences.

Responsibilities

• Pick, pack, label, and prepare customer orders accurately and on schedule.
• Unload incoming shipments, verify packing slips against actual deliveries, and inspect for damage.
• Transport and store merchandise in designated warehouse locations using pallet jacks or hand trucks.
• Keep the workspace free of debris, safely dispose of waste, and maintain safety and organization.
• Use barcode scanners or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to track inventory movements and record logs.
