This role is responsible for coordinating shipping activities, which include receipt, storage, picking, document generation, and shipment of finished goods and sample orders. This position must work effectively in a team based environment to accomplish company goals and to identify and resolve issues prior to shipment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or higher preferred.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, and keen attention to detail.
  • Proven experience in shipping, logistics, or supply chain coordination.
  • High level of computer acumen.
  • Can-do attitude with desire to satisfy customers.

Nice To Haves

  • Post secondary degree.
  • SAP/other ERP experience, proficient in Microsoft Suite.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse environment.
  • Forklift licensure.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review shipping documents, including bills of lading, packing slips, labels, etc.
  • Stage, verify, and load finished goods and materials for shipment
  • Maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory, and material movements
  • Package and ship sample orders
  • Effectively communicate with customer service, product supply, production and quality control lab to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Perform all related duties necessary to continually improve warehouse/transportation business process.
  • Maintain a strong safety culture by following all regulatory and company safety protocols and promoting safe practices within logistics operations
  • Assist as needed within the warehouse team.
