The main purpose of the Shipping Clerk is to pack orders and to prepare boxes for shipments and assist in organizing the warehouse.

Requirements

• High School Diploma required.
• Minimum one (1) year experience in shipping.
• Attention to detail is necessary.
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.
• A positive attitude with the ability to work in a team.
• Excellent communication skills in French (oral & written) required.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) required

Nice To Haves

• Experience in pharmaceutical or regulated environment is an asset.
• Forklift certified is considered an asset.
• Knowledge of packing/handling dangerous goods is considered an asset.
• Knowledge using hand held scanners an asset.
• Syspro is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Verify the products against sale orders before packing
• Pick/Pack all regular, wholesalers’ orders and BC transfers
• Pick/Pack the dangerous goods and refrigerate products
• Enter invoice information into UPS/Fedex software
• Inspect package, make sure all information is correct
• Follow proper shipping procedure for Hazardous Materials
• Change status and tracking number of shipped packages in Syspro
• Clean the shelves and bottles
• Assist in the organization of warehouse; place chemicals, devices, materials, etc.
• Perform physical inventory for shipping packaging materials
