About The Position
KDV Label is hiring a detail-oriented Shipping Clerk to support accurate and efficient shipping operations. The role packages rolls of labels, prepares cartons and pallets for shipment, handles finished-goods inventory, and prepares shipping documents. The company is willing to train a motivated, reliable individual. Training must be completed on a 10:00 a.m.–6:15 p.m. schedule for a few weeks before the regular second-shift schedule.
Requirements
- Ability to handle an average physical workload of 30 pounds, with a maximum weight of 50 pounds.
- Basic computer skills.
- Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to pay attention to details.
Nice To Haves
- Forklift experience; training will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Package rolls of labels and prepare individual cartons or pallets for shipment.
- Operate a box taping machine and pallet lift tables.
- Operate a lift truck to transfer pallets of label rolls and load shipments into trucks.
- Put quantities of finished goods into inventory.
- Generate shipping documents using a computer.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
