About The Position

This role supports interfacility material flow by picking up, transporting, and delivering materials, and by managing shipping and inventory processes that enable production and customer shipments. The position operates onsite on a swing shift (Monday–Friday, 2:30pm–11:00pm) and involves collaboration with production, inventory control, and carrier partners to ensure shipments are accurate and on schedule.

Requirements

  • Experience operating a box truck
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform frequent physical activity (climbing, balancing, moving parts)
  • Experience operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and internal inventory/shipping computer applications
  • Strong attention to detail, legible documentation skills, and proven problem-solving and communication abilities

Responsibilities

  • Pick up, transport, and deliver materials using an interfacility box truck and stage shipments for carrier pickup
  • Receive, stock, issue parts and assemblies, perform cycle counts, and maintain inventory records
  • Perform packaging, labeling, and shipping checklist activities to meet shipping best practices
  • Print and manage inventory/shipping reports, tags, unit container labels, and shipping documents
  • Schedule and track shipments through internal shipping processes and carrier portals
  • Train and assist coworkers on shipping tasks, pack slips, freight bills, and portal access
  • Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and with limited oversight
  • Identify variances, participate in investigation and resolution, and follow/update work orders
