About The Position
A company in Hammond, Louisiana, is seeking a dependable Shipping & Receiving Associate to join its warehouse team. This is an evaluation-to-hire opportunity with long-term potential. Pay starts at $17.00 per hour and may be higher based on experience. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
Requirements
- Previous warehouse experience is required.
- Experience with shipping and receiving processes.
- Basic computer and data entry skills.
- Ability to lift, move, and organize materials throughout the shift.
- Strong attention to detail and reliability.
Nice To Haves
- Forklift certification preferred.
Responsibilities
- Move and organize pallets throughout the warehouse.
- Prepare materials for shipment.
- Load and unload incoming and outgoing products.
- Enter and maintain inventory and shipping data.
- Operate a forklift safely and efficiently.
- Keep warehouse areas organized and clean.
