About The Position

The Shipping and Receiving Team Member is responsible for ensuring the quality of products before final shipment, contributing to continuous improvement, and fostering a positive work environment. This role involves supporting team building, providing feedback, adhering to company policies, and working safely and efficiently with a customer-focused approach. The position may also include periodic deliveries and pickups, requiring the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and assist other departments as needed.

Requirements

Knowledge of product packaging methods to ensure safe and secure shipments to meet customer requirements
Working knowledge of flatbed packing for safe loads
Flexibility with scheduled hours to accommodate shipping and receiving needs
High school diploma or equivalent
Basic computer skills
Demonstrated proficiency using EPICOR ERP or similar systems
Good communication skills
CDL or willing to obtain CDL
Very good interpersonal skills
Must be open-minded to new ideas and concepts
Possesses very good problem-solving skills
Must be self-motivated and results oriented
Able to read and interpret blueprints and other written documents
