About The Position

Ventura Manufacturing is seeking a full-time Shipping & Receiving Team Member to join their team. This position is crucial for ensuring the safe and efficient movement of materials between suppliers, the warehouse, and production teams. The ideal candidate will be active, organized, a good communicator, and eager to learn and grow with the company. The schedule is Monday-Friday, 7 AM-3 PM, with the possibility of overtime.

Requirements

• Valid Driver's License
• Forklift experience (2+ years)
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn warehouse technology
• Commitment to safety, quality and teamwork

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a forklift to move materials throughout the facility
• Receive, unload, verify and organize inbound shipments
• Load outbound shipments accurately and on schedule
• Communicate professionally with truck drivers and teammates
• Use scanners and warehouse software to track materials and inventory
• Keep production supplied with materials to run efficiently
• Maintain clean, organized and safe dock and warehouse area
• Stay flexible, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing production needs
• Work independently while contributing to team success
• Demonstrate reliable attendance, attention to detail and a strong work ethic
