About The Position

Porter Corp is seeking a Sheet Metal Team Member responsible for ensuring the quality of products before final shipment. This role involves continuous improvement, supporting department and company goals, and fostering a positive team environment. The team member will provide feedback to colleagues and supervisors, adhere to company policies, and work safely and efficiently with a customer focus. Key tasks include operating machinery such as break presses, shears, and punches, and performing other assigned duties.

Requirements

Knowledge of basic sheet metal working methods to ensure a quality product is delivered to all customers
High school diploma or equivalent
Basic Computer skills
Demonstrated proficiency using EPICOR ERP or similar systems
Blueprint reading
Very good interpersonal skills
Must be open-minded to new ideas and concepts
Possesses very good problem-solving skills
Must be self-motivated and results oriented

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of Press Breaks, Shears and assorted hand tools
