About The Position

As our Shipping and Receiving Supervisor, you will oversee all inbound and outbound warehouse operations to ensure the efficient, accurate, and safe movement of products in a cold storage environment. You’ll lead a team responsible for receiving, inspecting, shipping, and maintaining inventory accuracy while upholding the highest standards of quality and safety.

Requirements

• 3–5 years in warehouse operations with a focus on both shipping and receiving, including 1–2 years of supervisory experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with WMS and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Effective communicator.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in cold storage or food logistics preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field preferred.
• Forklift certification preferred.
• OSHA or HACCP certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise both shipping and receiving teams, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management to ensure smooth and efficient workflow.
• Ensure all incoming and outgoing shipments are processed accurately, inspected for quality and quantity, and documented properly in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Collaborate with inventory control to reconcile stock levels, resolve discrepancies, and support regular cycle counts.
• Enforce OSHA, HACCP, and company safety standards through training, inspections, and continuous improvement of operational practices.
• Identify opportunities to streamline shipping and receiving operations to improve efficiency, accuracy, and service levels.
• Oversee the proper use and maintenance of forklifts and other equipment; maintain accurate operational reports and shipment documentation.
