About The Position

The Shipping and Receiving Specialist works in the warehouse to receive, store, and deliver goods and supplies throughout warehouse and production areas. The role tracks the movement of materials through the supply chain and helps ensure efficient warehouse operations. Specific duties may vary by facility or department.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of warehouse experience.
• At least 2 years of forklift-driving experience.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the proper loading, unloading, and handling of goods and materials.
• Receive supplies and materials into the warehouse.
• Validate received materials and goods against invoices for accuracy.
• Complete paperwork relating to received goods and process bills of lading.
• Handle and stock goods according to warehousing and storage requirements.
• May assist with monitoring warehouse records and inventory and report discrepancies in quantities or damages to the supervisor.
• May coordinate with suppliers regarding shipments and delivery of orders.
• Follow plant-specified job specifications and task lists.
