About The Position

As a Shipping and Receiving Specialist, you will work in the warehouse receiving, storing, and delivering goods and supplies throughout warehouse and production areas. You will track materials through the supply chain and help ensure the efficient functioning of the warehouse. Specific duties may vary depending on the facility or department.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of warehouse experience.
• At least 2 years of forklift-driving experience.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the proper loading, unloading, and handling of goods and materials.
• Receive supplies and materials into the warehouse.
• Validate received materials and goods against invoices for accuracy.
• Complete paperwork for received goods and process bills of lading.
• Handle and stock goods in accordance with warehousing and storage requirements.
• Assist with monitoring warehouse records and inventory and report discrepancies in quantities or damaged goods to the supervisor.
• Coordinate with suppliers regarding shipments and delivery of orders, as needed.
• Follow plant-specified job specifications and task lists.
