About The Position

Argen Corporation is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Lead to oversee daily shipping, receiving, and fulfillment operations. The role provides direction and task assignments to team members, supports training and development, and ensures that logistics activities meet service level agreements, quality standards, and departmental goals. The position coordinates shipment planning, documentation, tracking, issue resolution, and order fulfillment while working with carriers and internal teams. It also supports inventory replenishment and accuracy and maintains a safe, organized work environment in compliance with company procedures and applicable regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of shipping and receiving experience.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and at least 1 year of driving experience.
• At least 1 year of forklift operation experience and current, valid forklift certification.
• Familiarity with QAD ERP and shipping systems such as FedEx, UPS, DHL, and AES.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work in a team environment, follow instructions, and take on additional responsibilities.
• Attention to detail and a quality-focused approach.
• Ability to meet physical requirements, including lifting or moving items up to 50 pounds and standing for extended periods.
• Ability to learn technical concepts by reading work instructions and standard operating procedures and completing on-the-job training.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of cGMP regulations and standards including ISO 13485, 21 CFR Part 820, CMDR SOR/98-282, 93/42/EEC, RDC 16 2013, MHLW MO 169, and TG(MD)R Sch3.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily shipping, receiving, and fulfillment operations to ensure efficient and timely processing of inbound and outbound logistics.
• Direct and assign tasks to team members and facilitate training and development.
• Ensure compliance with service level agreements, quality standards, and departmental goals.
• Investigate and resolve order discrepancies, system errors, and shipment issues with cross-functional teams, including IT, QAD, Inventory Control, and Customer Care.
• Monitor workflow and resource allocation, identifying and mitigating bottlenecks.
• Verify shipping documentation, including bills of lading, manifests, and labels, for accuracy and completeness.
• Plan and schedule domestic and international shipments in compliance with shipping regulations, carrier requirements, and export documentation standards.
• Serve as the primary contact for carriers, freight forwarders, and internal stakeholders on tracking, delays, and delivery exceptions.
• Track and consolidate shipments, particularly digital fulfillment orders, to support proper handling and timely dispatch.
• Pick, pack, label, and prepare orders for shipment in accordance with product specifications and standard operating procedures.
• Enter and audit shipping and order data in QAD and carrier platforms, including FedEx, UPS, DHL, and USPS.
• Supervise packing to ensure compliance with packaging guidelines and minimize damage.
• Respond to internal and external shipment inquiries and provide updates and resolutions.
• Coordinate preparation and review of international shipping documentation with Customer Care and regulatory teams.
• Assist with inventory replenishment and organization using the Kanban system and contribute to inventory accuracy through periodic cycle counts.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment in accordance with safety protocols and 7S standards.
• Follow standard operating procedures and regulatory requirements, including cGMP, ISO 13485, and 21 CFR Part 820.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
