Shipping and Receiving Lead - 2nd shift
About The Position
Kapco Inc. is looking for a Shipping & Receiving Lead on our 2nd shift at our Grafton, WI facility. This role involves assisting with overseeing shipping operations during the assigned shift, reviewing shipment orders, staging materials, and assigning tasks to shipping personnel. The Lead will partner with the Shipping Supervisor to review production schedules and establish the evening shift plan, prepare UPS and customer shipments, and complete daily reporting including shipment documentation, issue tracking, and incident investigations. The position also supports shipping operations with other duties as assigned and maintains a safe and organized work environment while following company procedures.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of shipping operations experience preferred.
- Ability to bend, twist, stoop, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist with overseeing shipping operations during the assigned shift.
