This role is responsible for maintaining the sorter operation, managing product deliveries, stocking drugs, ensuring the quality and accuracy of inventory, and accurately packing and shipping pharmacy products. Responsibilities

  • Maintains sorter operation by removing full totes from the sorter tote location, replenishing empty totes, scanning tote and location, and rearranging individual units in totes.
  • Manages product deliveries by preparing, reviewing, and verifying receiving documentation, processing, counting, separating, and scanning product, operating computer software, unloading product, organizing inventory, and transferring items to production stations.
  • Stocks drugs by opening boxes, monitoring product size, labeling, scanning, and sorting drug types, transporting drugs to designated locations, and storing excess drugs.
  • Maintains quality, accuracy, and integrity of inventory and packages by removing damaged or expired product, resolving discrepancies, informing management of incorrect processes, and providing basic equipment maintenance.
  • Completes work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources, collaborating with others, identifying priorities and deadlines, communicating progress, and recommending improvement opportunities.
  • Ensures accurate packing and shipping of pharmacy products by packing prescriptions, scanning items, placing packages on a conveyor, packing temperature-sensitive medication, ensuring supplies are included, stocking workstations, processing and labeling shipments, and completing paperwork.
